• One-Piece Design: AudioQuest’s 507 Series Multi-Spade is fabricated from a single solid piece of high-purity Purple Copper for a strong electrical connection and minimal distortion.
• Hanging-Silver Plating: Rather than using conventional drum-tumbler plating, AudioQuest’s labor-intensive process requires that each plug is attached to a hanger and “hung” in a pure-silver bath. Not only does this provide a very thick Direct-Silver plate with a gorgeous finish, but the exact chemistry of the plating bath and the bonding of plating to the underlying part can now be more productively controlled for optimal sonic performance.
• High-Contact Pressure System: AudioQuest’s Cold-Welding connection method ensures the structural integrity of the conductor and plug is kept completely intact without the damaging effect of heat and extra materials like solder, which change the character of the wire at the point of termination.
